After Goetze and Lewandowski, Bayern Also Lyrics Players Other Dortmund?
Dortmund – Before now defending Bayern Munich, Mario Goetze and Robert Lewandowski is the mainstay of Borussia Dortmund. But Bayern claimed not enough with only two players and never glanced at the other Dortmund players.
It said Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, Bayern had wanted to recruit other players after bringing Goetze and Lewandowski from the Signal Iduna Park in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
“With Goetze and Lewandowski, they’ve taken two of our best players and we lost two parts of our hearts. Bayern Munich also never took an interest in Borussia Dortmund some other players,” said Watzke told Kicker and reported by Soccerway.
“We get a sense of sympathy that is very high, that is why we are a real threat for Bayern Munich. We’re not a team that looks perfect and that is why we were so very likeable,”
One of the players who had entered the radar widely rumored Die Roten is Marco Reus, with Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge never threw a claim if the player has a release clause in his contract. By the middle of last week Reus itself has signed a new contract with a duration of up to 2019 in Dortmund.
